CatGPT is a desktop AI companion that brings interactive conversations to life with expressive Live2D animations and natural voice interaction.
What is CatGPT?
Ever wanted an AI assistant that feels more alive? CatGPT combines the intelligence of modern AI with beautifully animated Live2D characters that react, emote, and talk with you in real-time.
Talk to your companion using your voice, watch them respond with lip-synced speech and expressive animations, and even interact with them through head pats and playful bonks.

- Dandere - Shy and quiet, opens up once comfortable
- Deredere - Lovey-dovey and affectionate
- Himedere - Princess-like, expects royal treatment
- Yandere - Obsessively devoted
- Or create your own custom persona

- Head Patting - Show your companion some love
- Bonk - For when they're being silly
- Drag & Move - Position your companion anywhere on screen
- Click-through Mode - Companion stays visible while you work
About Premium
Premium is temporary. It will be removed once CatGPT reaches feature completion and we've raised enough to commission a professional artist to create a high-quality custom Live2D model (similar to Nurosama). The community will vote on the final design!

- AFTER INSTALLING RUN with xattr -cr ~/Applications/CatGPT.app in the terminal we are working on getting a dev certificate
Getting Started
- Download and install CatGPT
- Follow the setup wizard to configure your microphone
- Choose your Live2D character
- Pick a personality that suits you
- Select a voice for your companion
- Download the AI models (one-time, ~6GB)
- Start chatting!
Privacy
CatGPT runs entirely on your device. Your conversations, voice data, and interactions never leave your computer. No account required, no data collection, no cloud processing.

Is there any demo of this working? The need to link an account before starting and lack of any pictures or video of this working, as well as the Discord link not being filled out here and not working on your Xitter kind of weirds me out. Thanks. :)
